Acumen offers the Essential Website Development Package as seamless, one stop,high quality experience for small businesses looking to create or upgrade their web presence. We believe that all of the services offered in this package are critical for a successful web presence.
The Essential Website Development Package includes the following services:

Website Creation
The main objectives for your new website will likely include one or more of the following:
- Generate leads and sales
- Aid positioning of your company as a quality business
- Increase ease of contact for those seeking your services or products
- Provide your clients and prospects with easily accessible (and useful) information
- Communicate the expertise of your team
- Position your company as technologically advanced
- Aid image development of your company
Acumen staff will work with you to identify your objectives and develop your site accordingly. The package includes up to 5 pages of basic content using images, graphics, and text supplied by you.
Content creation services (text copy, images, pictures, and graphics) are not included in this package, but are available on a time and materials basis.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
The goal of Search Engine Optimization is to improve the position of your website within the results returned by the major search sites (Google, Bing, and Yahoo). Each of the searching sites send out web crawlers to analyze and index the content available on the web. Acumen will ensure that your website meets the published Technical and Design guidelines that enable web crawlers to successfully navigate your site. Acumen will also help you with the Quality and Content guidelines to avoid your site being blacklisted by the major search engines. As part of this service, Acumen will submit a sitemap for your website to Google, Bing, and Yahoo guaranteeing that these search engines know about your site. Up to four (4) hours of effort by Acumen Staff will be provided.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about the visitors to a website. Google Analytics can track visitors from all referrers, including search engines, display advertising, pay-per-click networks, email marketing and digital collateral such as links within PDF documents. Acumen staff will implement Google Analytics on your new website and then provide training on how to access and effectively use the tool. Up to three (3) hours of effort by Acumen staff will be provided.
Website Hosting
Includes 12 months of website hosting by Acumen.
Domain Name Research & Registration
Due to the unpredictable cost of domain name registration, this service is not included in this package. However, domain name research & registration services are available upon request on a time and materials basis.
